Safety Evaluation Technologies for Defecation Assistance Devices

We aim to develop safety evaluation technologies for defecation assistance devices. Even though the specifications of the target devices are unclear at present, the safety of such devices should be evaluated before they are commercialized in the near future as expected. We specify safety hazards associated with the target devices and determine the related safety requirements. We then determine tentative evaluation criteria based on a literature survey and propose testing methods.
