Open Source Software Development in Matlab for Sizing Photovoltaic Systems

摘要

The different stages carried out in the sizing of a photovoltaic system require a certain degree of technical knowledge, usually carried out by a specialist, which contributes to the high cost of installation of photovoltaic systems. Some sizing software is commercially available, however, usually its value is high, or specialized knowledge in photovoltaic systems is required for its operation, targeting specialized companies in the industry. The present work focuses on the development of a open source tool for the sizing photovoltaic systems, that is easy to use for the user, with the objective of facilitating the sizing and making photovoltaic energy more accessible, especially in developing countries.
