Design of information value determination method for information-sharing systems during large-scale disasters

During the large-scale disasters that occurred recently in Japan, people shared information via a diverse range of services on the Internet. Given that most of this information was shared by general Internet users, detailed information was available more rapidly compared the case where only mass media would communicate said information. Even so, very few users shared information via Internet services. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage users to provide information. In this paper, to promote this activity, we propose a method for determining the value of information by automated negotiation considering the provider's evaluations and the intentions of service management. We evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method experimentally.
