Microgrids are kind of local energy systems which generally consist of distributed energy resources, such as solar power generation, together with energy storage and other control functionalities. It is found that the applications of microgrid technologies on the low-voltage home/community energy system scenarios are paid more and more attentions. Meanwhile, one of the main objects is to save the electricity consumption for the microgrid end-users. In order to effective analyzes the response of electricity on the microgrids, a simulation-based electricity analysis environment that can present time-series simulation capability is developed in this paper. Proposed analysis methodologies are done on MATLAB/Simulink and then the performances are validated by test two different cases on a virtual community microgrid system that is modeled refer to a real system configuration. Finally, the electricity saving benefit of the community microgrid system is found by the results of time price calculation rules.
