Successful brands often rely on successful products to achieve true brand value. Brand portfolio is an effective strategy to create dominant brand, and its methods are brand development, brand alliance and brand acquisition. Based on the analysis of correlation between the three methods and the development strategy of product, this paper focuses on the development strategy of product under the brand merger and acquisition strategy.
