Introduction The development of catalytic control technologies of lean-NOx and particulate matter (PM) is challenging but very important for environmental issues as well as the survival of diesel vehicles [1]. PM combustion catalysts so far reported are categorized into the (mixed) metal oxides and supported metal catalysts, and we have been so far developed active La-K-Mn-O perovskite catalysts [2]. In this study, the effects of supported metals and support oxides on PM combustion activity were systematically investigated.
