Introduction There are many reports on desulfurization by combining extraction and oxidation desulfurization (EODS) together, but none of these systems can remove thiophene (T) efficiently. In our previous work, we have developed an amphiphilic catalysis system for diesel desulfurization successfully. In this work , we try to develop new system to oxidize electron-poor sulfide using ionic liquid(ILs) as the solvent. In this work, An oils/ILs two phase system is used in the oxidation of thiophene.
