摘要

Introduction The process intensification (PI) is considered as one of the most promising development paths for the chemical process industry and modern chemical engineering. The PI of heterogeneous photocatalysis remains limited to date for the complexity of this process which involved in heterogeneous process (the redox of photogenerated holes and electrons) and homogeneous process (OH· radicals oxidation). It is necessary to find the key limitations in the photocatalytic process for different systems and design effective technology for the PI. In this study, we developed a novel technology 'plug flow photoreactor + static mixer' to intensify photocatalytic process which could be easy for engineering application.
