摘要

Introduction Benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX) are the major volatile organic compounds (VOCs) [1]. Complete catalytic oxidation techniques that convert a contaminant into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water are an effective way to remove VOCs[2]. In this study, a series of α-MnO2 nanowires were prepared and tested for the complete catalytic oxidation of o-xylene. Catalytic activity was evaluated in terms of both o-xylene conversion and CO2 yield.
