摘要

1. The main carrier for thermal conductivity & electrical conductivity in metals and most intermetallics are electrons. 2. Point defects serve as scattering sites for electrons thus reduce both thermal and electrical conductivity. 3. Thermal conductivity measurement can be used to get some clues of the compositional point defects in intermetallics.
