摘要

"Lifang" system was once the basal unit of city and country planning in ancient China. But as the development of society, it had disappeared gradually. However, after researching and analyzing, we think the "lifang" system has still existed in many village settlements. By analyzing the internal structure and the hidden management system of Zhangbi Ancient Fort in Jiexiu, Shanxi province, we find that its pattern is similar with the "lifang" system. Therefore this paper points out the "lifang" culture in Zhangbi settlement's framework.
