A RESEARCH ON EVALUATION INDEX SYSTEM OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT CAPABILITY OF ENTERPRISES

The index system is evolved from PMMM, and it includes all components and aspects of PM capability. Since it's not a multi-phase evaluation method, people can evaluate the capability in a lump, so it can provide a shortcut of evaluation. We can use it for temporary evaluation, such as inviting public bidding. As a new evaluation method, we have not enough data to calculate weights of indexes. We will collect data in practice, and work out the result as soon as possible. The last question is how to give grades to indexes. Since there are qualitative and quantitative indexes in the system, it's a hard work to mark. A solution is to define the mark range for each index. We should describe the corresponding situation for each mark range of each index. For an index, if the actual situation of an enterprise seems like a corresponding situation of certain mark range, we can give a grade in this mark range to the index. We believe this method of marking can decrease the people's subjective effect, so the result of marking will be impersonal and comparable. We should continue the research to define the mark range.
