The New Development Tendency of China's High-Tech Zone: A Case of Dalian High-Tech Zone

摘要

This paper takes the recent development of Dalian High-tech Zone as an example, analyzes the new trend of the similar zones in China after the entry into WTO. This paper emphasizes on the following three aspects: marketing adjusting system is adopted as the zones' management system; characterization and specialization are set up as zones' function orientation and industry orientation; the competition in talents and technology is the major competition in the zones. Through the analysis of this paper, the zones in China may have some advice in making strategic planning.
