Abstract: This method pertains to polymer flow data visualization in the field of computer-aided engineering (CAE) known as injection molding. Flow front data output from injection molding analysis generates a flat-shaded animated display representative of polymer flow into a mold cavity. This is superior to static graphics as it enables the engineer to examine and identify undesired filling patterns and allows CAE engineers to make quicker and more accurate predictions.!
