Multielectrode resistivity methods and pseudo-tomographic seismic refraction techniques were used to image to arndepth of approximately 30 m at the Natural and Accelerated Bioremediation Research Field Research Center, a research siternthat has been developed by the U. S. Department of Energy to study bioremediation methods. The site is known to containrnnitrates, uranium, and other contaminants. These geophysical methods were effective in delineating the plume and inrndefining geologic units that appear to influence contaminant transport. Extensive drilling and groundwater samplingrnverified the geophysical data.
