Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium of Mixed Solvent Electrolyte Solutions: Measurements and Models

摘要

An equation of state has been developed to model the phase equilibria of mixtures of water + organic solvents +rnsalts. This model is based on the Peng-Robinson equation of state and requires only pure fluid properties and binaryrninteraction parameters and properties. Representative systems, water + acetone + 2-propanol + NaNO3 and its binaries,rnwere used to test and verify the model. This paper focuses on data compilation and evaluation and methods used for fittingrnthe parameters.
