摘要

The covalent immobilization of integrin-selective peptidomimetics on Ti surfaces was successfully achieved through a simple silanization protocol. The presence of integrin-selective cues significantly stimulated spreading and cytoskeleton organization of SaOS-2 cells. Proliferation and expression of both the early marker of osteoblastic differentiation and the early indicator of mineralized matrix deposition were also up-regulated. Thus, the strategy reported in this study has proved effective for improving Ti bioactivity and holds great potential for stimulating osteointegration of implant materials in vivo.
