Economic Analysis of the Pollution Permits Trading Policy in Taihu Lake Basin

摘要

Aiming at the environmental pollution in Taihu Lake basin, this paper used relevant economic theories to explore the economic causes of the environmental pollution. Meanwhile, how to control the pollution and adopt positive and incentive-based policies, the pollution permits trading policy is very important. The economic measures on the initial allocation of pollution permits, establishment of the trading platform, setting up of the coordination organizations and gradual reduction of the license were proposed.
