Dynamic Interface Management in a Transport Infrastructure Project

This paper describes how SystemsrnEngineering methods have been applied for thernspecification and interface management of thernDutch high-speed line project (HSL-Zuid), and thernlessons which have been learned from thisrnexperience. This project is complex both in size andrnin the number of internal and external interfaces.rnThe management of these interfaces is a challengernfor which Systems Engineering provides a goodrnapproach, but the application is different from thernapplications in other industries. The focus of thisrnpaper is on the interface management of Design &rnConstruct type contracts with high level functionalrnspecifications.
