Monitoring System Based on Pub/Sub Messaging in u-City System

摘要

Recently many u-City systems have been developed for nation-wide ubiquitous environments. In construction of u-City system, it is required to build a system for acquiring and aggregating of sensory data via sensors and instruments in u-City environment having artifacts found in urban places. We discuss our message-based approach for managing real-time data streams and building higher-level services to produce and consume them. Our messaging system acts as a substrate that can be used to provide qualities of service to various streaming applications in u-City.
