Problem solving as undertaken in designing is associated with the decision-making process. When a new problem arises, how do we approach it? There are many books and materials on creative designing; in particular, there are several creative thinking methods and methodologies available. However, the following questions have arisen; (1) what characteristics do good creative designers have, and (2) is it possible to improve creativity? The statement "the solution for a problem is creative," implies two criterions. One is (1) the problem is already solved, and the other is (2) the solution is indeed creative. Therefore, we attempt to discuss certain themes with designers, and reflect the obtained outcome in future education for creative design.
