The key factors are improving the sensitivity of near infrared optical fiber carbon monoxide sensor to make this system practicality. Factors that influence the sensitivity of carbon monoxide's concentration detecting system are discussed on detail. Based on three facets, those are detecting source, gas absorption section coefficient and gas action length, we describe the settling approach and realizing system. The sensitivity in system's experiments has risen to 60ppb.
