In order to improve the muzzle velocity of the pill and the power of the gun, the barrel is always lengthened in modern tank gun. But the dynamics character of the barrel would changed by these methods, and the firing accuracy may be out of control. Therefore, it is an important work for designer to master the libration character and distribute libration frequency in reason. The paper built FEM model of some tank gun barrel and gets its libration mode parameter and design bug. The barrel reach require after some mend. This result offers theories reference for the dynamical response analyses and structure optimize design of tank gun barrel.
