1) a series of volume fraction in situ Tip/Al composites are fabrication successfully using plasma jet by plasma gas flow of ( Ar + H_2) for very short time to fulfill the melting of titanium wire and spray onto the liquid aluminum in a clay chamber. 2) The key features in the process optimization would involve improving the speed of titanium wire supply and spray parameters used in this plasma spraying. 3) Because of the electronic-magnetic mixing of pules magnet field around the chamber, the distribution of titanium particle phases is homogeneous and very fine, preferable in the micron range. 4) the solidification time of titanium droplets is much shorter than that of reaction which is: Al ( L ) + Ti ( L ) → Al_3Ti ( S ). So that the XRD result shows only a little Al_3Ti is formed during all the spray process.
