摘要

Measurements on the time-spatial distribution of film thickness were performed at Re=440- 5100 for vertically falling liquid films using the conductance method.The correlation of the mean film thickness vs the film Reynolds number is given by fitting the test data.The instantaneous and the time-average surface waveshapes are also given by the interpretation of hte test data suing hte cubic spline mehod.it is revealed that the evolution of the surface waves has remarkable nonlinear behavior.The celerity obtained by the experiments is available for reference.
