PIV measurement of mutiphase flows

摘要

Particle Imaging Velocimetry (PIV) has been rapidly developed with the drastic development of omputers and image processing techniques.As a tool for measuring the wohole flow field without contacting the flow,the PIV has been extensively applied to automat4ed measurements of multiphase flows.Tubrulence and thermal flows with reliable accuracy.Some typical algorithms and methods for PIV techniques are concisely summarized and reviewed.Piv measruements of multiphase lfows are also shortly discussed in this paper.
