These proceedings collect the papers accepted at the Second Workshop on Trusted Smart Contracts associated with the Financial Cryptography and Data Security 2018 (FC 2018) conference held in Curacao in 2018 (February 26 to March 2, 2018). WTSC 2018 focused on smart contracts, i.e., self-enforcing agreements in the form of executable programs, and other decentralized applications that are deployed to and run on top of (specialized) blockchains. These technologies introduce a novel programming framework and execution environment, which, together with the supporting blockchain technologies, carry unanswered and challenging research questions. Multidisciplinary and multifactorial aspects affect correctness, safety, privacy, authentication, efficiency, sustainability, resilience, and trust in smart contracts and decentralized applications.
