摘要

The BrazeSkin technology for applying nickel-based brazing alloys by spraying and screen printing techniques is an advantageous alternative to existing melt-spin films, brazing alloy tapes and brazing alloy pastes. First applications are e.g. cylinder head gaskets, plate heat exchangers and EGR-coolers. For brazing of copper brass radiators the CuproBraze process has been developed. Brazing is carried out in protective atmosphere furnaces using nitrogen. Advantages of this process are higher strength values of the used copper and brass base materials, improved heat tansfer and lower weight. The developed pastes can be applied by special spraying techniques and by roller coating.
