One very complicated problem in modern laser light dynamics is the correct transition from the scalar model of medium-lasing field interaction to the vector one. Scalar model lies on the appromation that the dipole moment of the optical transition with emission emission is oriented along the lasing electric~1,2. This assumptionis not correct for anisotropic media and for lasers where the active medium consists of molecules (molecular gas lasers, dye lasers). In these cases the dipole moment of the optical transition with emission is not aligned with the molecular skeleton~3,4. As a result, an anisotroic angular distribution of excited molecules appears under a polarized light excitation.
