摘要

The process of modulational instability (MI) of moving plane waves in the system described by nonlinear Schrodinger equation with variable parameters is investigated. The cases of periodic and random variations of parameters are consdiered. It is shown that in the former case the parametric resonance and in the latter one the stochastic parametric resonance take place. This manifests itself in appearing of new MI regions for both negative and positive signs of the ratio of nonlinear and dispersion coefficients. The increments of instability in the new regions of MI are calculated.
