摘要

This paper describes displacement characteristics of the Tsugaru Strait Bridge proposed to span the Tsugaru Slrait, Japan. The total length of proposal is 20 km and Center Bridge is designed as a compound bridge of suspension bridges and cable-stayed bridges with 4000 m super-long-span. Case study about the effects of height and stiffness of main tower, length of cable-stayed bridge section, length of suspension section on displacement were carried out. With appropriate design of above parameters, the compound bridge can reduce horizontal displacement of main tower and vertical deflection in the central portion and can enhance resistance to partial loads.
