DEVELOPING INFORMAL EDUCATION THROUGH MOBILE COLLABORATIVE LEARNING

By using mobile devices, informal education could berndeveloped through collaborative interactions at any timernor location. The use of properly designed mobilerncomputer applications can support and boost situationsrnthat lead to informal education. Thus, in this work a newrnperspective is proposed which uses mobile collaborativernlearning for the development of informal education. Thisrnwork presents an approach based on this perspective, asrnwell as a prototype interface that illustrates the ideas andrnthe design decisions. The paper also presents a discussionrnabout the impacts of the approach on informal education.
