摘要

With the appearance of fault-tolerant computer system and its wide application in recent years, it has become more and more important to find efficient methods and tools of reliability estimation for fault-tolerant computer systems. This paper introduces a practical reliability estimation system, TCRES, which can give reliability estimation for six typical redundant structures using seven methods of reliability analysis. TCRES provides not only the reliability logic analysis but also the quantitative result of reliability and performance for various systems. Its basic algorithm, design scheme, application and so on are discussed in details.
