Residue series for the generalised gamma renewal function

When individual items in a collection of identical items fail and are immediately replaced, the probabilistic expectation of failure of any item, termed the renewal function, is defined by the standard renewal equation (eg. [3]). This equation is a linear, covolution, Volterra integral equation of the second kind.
