摘要

In this paper, a mathematical model has been set up by elasticity theory, which can be used to ealculate the pressure distribution and the frictional torque on the contact surface of a new type of clamping bolt flange coupling with two supplementary end keys. A computer program has been made according to the algorithm. The load - carrying capacity is calculated for such a type of bolt flange coupling which is applied to connect shafts of the main electric motor and gear box in a 1150 steel-rolling mill system. The results prove that the method described in this paper is feasible and reliable. It provides a more simple and effective way to evaluate the load capacity of the coupling and its load shearing between the frictional torque by the champing bolts and the end keys.
