NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF LIMITING BEARING PRESSURE OF BOLTED JOINT BY FEM

摘要

In this paper the limiting bearing pressure on bearing surface of bolted joint is analysed by finite element method. The numerical results of elastoplastic analysis by FEM show that the limiting bearing pressure on bearing surface of bolted joint by high strength bolt with internal radius is higher than that of bolted joint by high strength bolt with common hex head.
