The book, Creating Breakthrough Products: Innovation from Product Planning to Program Approval, Financial Times, Prentice Hall is co-authored by a professor in design and a professor in engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. The forward is written by one of the leading voices in the business and design community, Bruce Nusssbaum, editor for BusinessWeek Magazine. Our goal was to write a book for engineers, designers and business professionals and anyone else in the product development process. There were several reasons that we wrote a book about what we call breakthrough products.
