Package of Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus particle with heterologous polyhedrin

Separating the polyhedrin and its promoter of Autographa calif arnica nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcMNPV) by PCR. Then cloning into the transfer vector pBacPAK8. and cotransfection was accomplished in the BmN cells, with the recombinant transfer vectors and Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus (BmNPV) genomic DNA which has been delected the polyhedrin. Then recombinant virus of BmNPV with the polyhedrin of AcMNPV was selected and founded that the particle of BmNPV can be packaged. Compared growth situation of the recombinant virus with wild-type BmNPV in BmN cells and silkworm larvae.
