According to the properties of one type of crude oil (13. 64mgKOH/g of acid number) in Africa, the process condition of decreasing the acid content in high-acidic crude oil, including the neutralizing agent, additive solvent, demulsifier, temperature, electric field strength etc., are selected by experiments, and the removal rate of acid can reach over 60% and the acid number of the crude oil after removing acid can reach below 5.5mgKOH/g.
