摘要

If the traditional catalytic combustion methane sensor is operated in the atmosphere with 10%CH_4, the surfacerntemperature of the detecting element will approach to methane explosive temperature. In order to eliminate this latent non-safe effect, this paper points out: by means of improvement of the catalytic performance and by utilizing microelectronics planar technology it is possible to manufacture an intrinsically safe type of catalytic methane sensor.
