Vent system design for bulk road tankers filling stations involved in loading volatile refinery products

The road tanker filling stations are provided near the bulk storage facilities to load the petroleum products to road tankers. While filling the Road Tankers, the hydrocarbons and air mixture will be vented from the tankers to atmosphere through vent stack. This paper describes the methodologies of the vent stack design and selection criterions for the stack location. It also recommends the basis for performing hydraulics for the vent header and stack.
