摘要

Neonatal handling is an experimental animal model of early life experiences known to affect the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5) and immediate early gene Arc/Arg3.1 are important for several forms of synaptic plasticity. This study aimed at identifying the effects of neonatal handling on mGluR5 and Arc mRNA levels in prefrontal cortex of adult male rat brain using in situ hybridization
