摘要

Induced Current Magnetic Resonance ElectricalrnImpedance Tomography (ICMREIT) is an emergingrnimaging methodology that utilizes Magnetic ResonancernImaging (MRI) techniques to visualize the electricalrnconductivity as a new contrast. In ICMREIT, by fastrnswitching of gradient fields of Magnetic Resonance (MR)rnsystem eddy currents are induced in the imaging volume.rnThe secondary magnetic field generated by the inducedrneddy currents can be extracted from the MR phase images.rnImage reconstruction algorithms then use this secondaryrnfield map to recover the conductivity distribution. Inrnthis paper, a novel approach is proposed to enhance thernquality of the reconstructed conductivity maps, from thernperspectives of edge preservation and noise sensitivity.rnSimulated measurements are used to demonstrate thernimprovements introduced by the proposed method.
