Bio-Inspired Computing and Communication

摘要

This volume of papers was put together by the Editors after a successful workshop that was held in the University of Cambridge in April 2007, partly sponsored by the UK-US ITA project. The goal of the workshop (and hence the purpose of this publication) was to bring together ideas from the natural world and problems in the area of wireless networks.rnWireless networking is more prevalent than any other kind of artificial communications system on Earth at the time of writing. There are over three billion digital cellular telephones in the world, and billions of analogue and digital TV receivers, as well as numerous specialized wireless networks in civilian and military life.
