Automated Device for Testing of Vehicle Headlights

摘要

For many years in-use checking of vehicle headlights is based on simple visual aiming with help of mechanical-optical device.There is also no clear guidance how should be verified quality of headlighting in-use conditions.Finally quality of headlighting is more or less unpredictable but significantly influence for night visibility, glare and road traffic safety.To improve accuracy of aiming, and to give possibility for quick and accurate in-use headlights testing there was worked out special device based on image analysis which allow for such advanced tests and assessment based on detailed beam pattern photometric measurements.
