摘要

This paper deals with factors affecting the strength of hot process resin coated sand under room temperatures. The following factors which show influence on room-temperature tensile strength and bending strength were studied: the graininess, the distribution and the grain shape of base sand, phenolic resin, curing agents, additives and cooling procedure. The results may be used as a reference to preduce resin-coated sand.
