A multi-gap arresters (MGA) which applied in 10~35kV overhead transmission line is introduced, The feasibility of this product are proved by laboratory investigation and simulation calculation. The product has been applied on several lines in different fields, such as power system, wind farms and oil deposit. Up to date, no lightning tripping accident was reported.
