Making connections across the cultures of research, design, and teaching in an era of uncertainty

Reflection on the past can be useful in planning for the future. In fitting with my new role as Vice President for Planning for ITAA, I present data to help us look at some trends in scholarship in the field of textiles, apparel, and merchandising. Thee trends may help us consider where we want ITAA to head in the near future. I will consider the broadest array of scholarship--research, teaching, and design or art.
