A syndrome of organizational behavior called an Organizational LOE or organizational loss of effectiveness that coincides with technological change has been postulated by Hamner and Goetz.(Hamner and Goetz, 2003) Parallels between individual behavior and organizational behavior have led to the proposition that for a syndrome such as an Organizational LOE to exist a number of symptoms of organizational behavior should be exhibited simultaneously. This research seeks to define and discuss future research regarding a set of organizational behavior "symptoms" that when exhibited will have a negative impact on organizations which would result in a loss of their effectiveness, and could ultimately lead to their dissolution.
