A Study on the Reality of a Color Use of the Finishes in the Interior of Hospitals

In the study, for the stated differentiation, characteristics of wards, examination rooms and common rooms are classified with the idea of understanding characters of people who use those places. The direction of color planning will be suggested that proper interior color plans of hospitals are done for each particular place with each different characteristic The data of finishes were extracted from the ceilings, the walls, and the floors from the each room. The purpose of this study is to be a guidance of the harmonious color planning for the future use. Qualities of colors used in wards, examination rooms and common rooms, which dominate interior of hospitals, should be presented with hue, value and chroma. Considering the effects by visual factors for human, characteristic of each color will be analyzed from the psychological and emotional aspects. The trends of colors used on ceilings, walls, floors and duster supporters in each place are classified by components of colors.
